In the lore of my fangame, Nilly was created for a very sweet reason. Jason had a daughter who had a hamster, and she didn't know what a hamster or a rat was, so she always said that her pet hamster was a little rat. Then Jason decided to create Nilly, with a candy theme, which was something his daughter also liked. He initially thought of making her a real hamster animatronic, but... his daughter insisted it was a little rat, so Nilly ended up being created.
