As I write this 12/23/2022, FTC is finally cancelled. I've tried, but there simply isn't any more motivation to work on this silly "little" project. Through the two years I've worked on this game, it never occurred to me what I was actually doing.

Eventually, the focus because to remake the game from the ground up instead of fixing it. However, since then I had been so focused on small and minor mechanics that I had never given time to work on the game. Now I've run dry of motivation for this project, its sad to see it go. I've worked on this game for two years now, always at the brink of throwing in the towel.

This game has taken a mental toll on me, being part of the cause of my existential dread. I've lost so much of my well being to this game because of how hard it was on my mental health. Its not like I was getting work done either way, with unmet deadlines and things not even being worked on anymore.

I've lost interest in the FTC Series I once planned, and now I yearn for something else. FTC was a game I made in a few hours just to have fun, and test some shit out. Now its some highly ambitious fangame designed to push the limits of some crappy kids engine, this isn't what I wanted at all.

There will be no new years demo, no camera chaos reveal, I will make minor adjustments to both games before leaving the files downloadable and playable. Maybe I'll even try my hand at making it more accessible.

I truly wish I could've delivered, instead of releasing a polished demo I will release everything I ever planned for the game. I hope to see you all sometime in the future,
