The game is now called “POPGOES 2026” instead of “Blackrabbit” because it fits better, especially with the original now being referred to as POPGOES 2016. The core gameplay stays the same, but this version focuses on a darker atmosphere and a heavier story while still keeping most of the important events from the original. A mobile port is planned if the PC release gets good feedback. The current goal is a Q4 2026 release, but that may change depending on how development goes.
