A much overdue announcement
HOLLOW SHIFT AT FREDDY'S 2.0 IS IN THE WORKS!


Shortly before the leaked build released for HSaF v1.0, we were already having ideas for a 2.0 in December of 2024. We were honestly expecting HSaF v1.0 to fail, and I think that's ultimately why it did. We lacked faith in the project.

2.0 aims to do what 1.0 couldn't, more unique models and mechanics, with more gameplay rather than just the basic 12am to 6am style format. Back in February 2025, we already alluded to the idea of a 2.0 for HSaF, but we were only entertaining the idea.

Shortly after I got back in touch with @thatrandomperson_ , I believed if we wanted to do a HSaF v2.0, that now was that chance to do so. @Thatrandomperson_ agreed to code for the project as @Paperpossum worked on the character models and @HanckReincarnated5006 & @DeadCupcake modified them slightly with weight painting and extra meshes. Even tho Paperclips did most of the work, this was still a collaborative project and all parties did amazing with the new models as you can see!

There will be people who still won't give a crap about HSaF v2.0, but just know that we are taking extra radical procedures to make this a lot better and a more fitting experience to play. @Mouse-avi will finish up HSaF v1.5 soon so you guys will finally be able to experience HSaF 1.0 the way it was intended to release. For now that is all for today!

Honestly the team has been cooking recently and we really with we could show you what were working on but it's gonna have to wait another couple of days or even maybe a few weeks.

Sorry for the v1.5 update taking a while, the game had to be heavily recoded for this, the original project file just could not of been worked on. The wait will be worth it as this will be the version YOU WILL WANT TO PLAY!
