Heh, I bet this isn't what any of you were expecting! SUP fellow sugar and sweets enjoyers Welcome to the fnaf series retrospective. Why am I reviewing such an old series? Simple: I want to.
In the retrospective, we're going to be talking about fnac R 2 and 3,no original since it's just remastered but worse, and no fnac Fur cause it isn't ready.
without a further ado, let's outsell Freddy's... that sounded way better in my head damn it.....

MAN, I sure do wonder if this 2019 FNAF fangame has a good menu or not.
Oh my god, it's good! We have an actual good menu, and the music playing is good too. Seriously, it's been stuck in my head for the past 6 years. New game time
Help wanted, we need a guard.
Before we talk about the office and gameplay, let's talk about some lore. fnac takes place in the same universe as popgoes. In this timeline, ONLY FNAF 1, 2, and 3 happened. fnac 1 takes place right after the bite of 87, which was caused by Toy Bonnie.
Enough yapping, it's office time
I really like it, it's like a mix between fnaf 1 and fnaf 2. Oh, and we get two noses to honk, so yeah, it's awesome Nice detail to have the fnaf 2 newspaper on the office.
As always, we get a phone call by the restaurant's Junior Manager, voiced by Emil himself.
As always, I'll explain them as best I can. The first thing he mentions are cameras, which are everywhere. We can view them by obviously pulling up our panel at night. Obviously, the lights are off, so the only way for us to see is to double-click on a cam to see what's actually in there.
From now on, I'll just call the manager Emil. The other important thing he mentions are the doors. The doors basically work the same way all other doors work except for one key difference: the amount of power the doors consume is determined by how much you keep them closed.
If the bars green, you're fine. If it starts red, you're fucked.
Finally, Emil talks about the robots moving at night. The main reason he doesn't want them to get in the office is because he doesn't want them to break something not because he cares for us. Fucking asshole....
On Night 1, the twins Candy and Cindy are active.
The kittens come from the doors. Candy can come from both doors while Cindy only goes to the right door. Just close the door when they're at the doors, and they'll pull a 'Puss in Boots' and just stare at you.
yeah that was night 1 it's about what i expected next nigh-
OH cutscenes sick dude
we're looking at a conveyor belt ok?
and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-
OH MY GOOOOOOOD IS THAT THE HIT CHARACTER "the reject" FROM THE HIT CANCELLED FANGAME POPGOES 2 THE DEAD FOREST?????
Can I get a MyPopgoes Steam key, please?
Oh, nvm, he killed the camera.
Okay, Night 2 time! In the phone call, Emil says he put a note so that the employees share the weird stuff the animatronics do, like moving to places they shouldn't, or being angry during the night.
Most interesting one: "They don't like adults."
The employees feel really threatened by them but Emil thinks they're just morons. One last thing: the restaurant uses small penguin robots as waiters. Damn, even back then, these fuckers were trying to take our jobs
Two of them were brutally murdered, look at the poor bastards...
There's a third one that still works, but not quite. He interferes with the system, whatever that means. Emil tells us to not let him in, and hangs up.
Just like last night, two new threats are active: Chester the monke and Penguin the penguin... Originality is my passion.
chester comes from the left and the penguin comes from the right door you already know what to do
That's Night 2 done, which means another cutscene.
At first, the footage is completely cut, but we can hear what's happening.
A child screams, and some kind of machine gets turned on. We hear some sus sounds and then get to see the footage.
Oh, that's just gory endoskeletons....
Uh, Night 3 time!
Emil congratulates us for staying here. The last guard couldn't even stand 2 nights before trying to destroy the one and only Blank. He got obviously fired, and Blank still works despite the fact he's missing an arm and the back of his head. The kids still seem to like him. Good for him.
Though the incident caused Blank to have a weird fascination with the ticket booth, so if he's not in his shitty ass room, just close the door in front of us.
Last thing Emil mentions: Ever since Freddy's shut down, Candy's is getting more and more popular, and if we want to, we can go to the day shift next week.
This night, the one and only Blank becomes active.
I absolutely love Blank's design. It's so unique, and nothing like him has ever been done before. He's just this BLANK slate. Two things to note about him: he has holes for where his ears would be, which is interesting, and if you look hard enough, you can see Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy all drawn on him.
Blank is in Camera 11. In his first state, he just looks at the ground, questioning his life.
in his second state he stares at you like you shit in front of him
in his third state he becomes a smash bros melee fox player and is gonna wavedash all over your dead corpse
when he's gone close the ticket booth door and look at cam 5
yeah that was night 3 cutscene time again
oh it's this guy again
He looks like he's having a mental breakdown. Let's just leave him be and go to Night 4.
Emil informs us of one last thing: before the new Candy and Cindy, there was an older version of Candy in the same style as Blank. He got into an incident with one of the customers, though thankfully it was an adult and not a child, so Old Candy was retired. Though the engineers said he can still move around, so yeah, that sucks.
Also, the dumbass we play as took the day shift offer. What a loser, am I right?
This night, Old Candy's active.
You better get used to him, since this is the only FNAC game he appears as an animatronic.
Ok, so all the other door characters from before didn't require you to use the cameras since their eyes were visible in the doorways, but not with Old Candy. You gotta use them cams if you wanna live.
If he's there, close the left door to send him back to hell, also known as Parts and Service.
Hey, you know what time it is? It's depressed puppet cutscene day!
First, we see Candy and Cindy sitting, questioning their life.
then depressed puppet tells them to die or something
then the camera man takes a shit and candy and cindy just stares at him looking disgusting
Night 5 time! We get two new messages: one obviously from Emil and the other from.... something else.
Let's start with Emil first: he starts talking about rooms that aren't in the map layout, the main one being the other back room next to Chester's stage. The employees think it's just a room where the big bossman keeps his personal life stuff, though Emil mentions he heard the boss talking the room having unused stuff in it, but eh, who knows.
Now the second one: it's just normal spooky backwards noises blah blah.
Night 5 doesn't add anything new, so cutscene time!
This one takes place a long-ass time ago: 1964. We see fixed versions of Old Candy and Blank and our boy depressed puppet coming closer.
he starts getting closer and closer saying "a mistake MY mistake" "a problem YOUR problem"
and just like that it over! yippe we got our paycheck
The character we play as is Mary Schmidt canonically. She is the sister to Mike Schmidt since the Aftons don't exist in this timeline. Also, I wonder who that shadow could be, hmmm...
Night 6
Emil calls us one last time. Mary shouldn't even be there: someone called Frank should've taken the shift. But Emil lets us stay since someone has to watch this shithole....
On the final night, THE RAT comes to life to get his revenge.
He's kinda like the FNAC series version of Springtrap. He's pretty broken: his eyes are completely gone, one of his ears is basically gone, and there's just something so off putting about him. He doesn't feel like he belongs in this place at all.
Anyway, his mechanic acts the same way as Old Candy, but he comes from both doors.
This is a perfect time to share my thoughts about the gameplay, and I really like it. I love it. It's just fnaf 1 and 2, but way better. It has the fast-paced nature of fnaf 2 with the door mechanics of fnaf 1. I've seen a lot of people say that "grrrrrrrrrr this game sucks cause first night doesn't use cameras grr game sucks," and to that I say go back to crying about fnaf 2 only using one camera.
Yeah, that's all I got to say. Night 6 cutscene time! All the stinky, smelly, hobo characters from the '60s are sitting.
After that, he gets up and smacks the camera, ending it.
And YAY We're done!
actually no fuck you i lied we're still not done we still have a ton of shit first custom night
It's not hard if you're using the close open door cheese strat. If you wanna do it legit, prepare for death!
Also, for beating night 6, we get this Candy plush.
and beating max mode gives us this awesome Cindy plush
But man, I just feel like there's just one last thing in the game waiting to be found... maybe something in the extras menu. I remember Rat having a secret in the original version. Let's se-
Oh, well, uh... that sure happened. Literally, the only place you can input numbers is custom night... so, let's try that?
Ok, now no one's active, and what the fuck is that?
OH GOD IT"S IN THE ROOM
Everyone, welcome to the Shadow Candy boss fight, or as the game calls it, Null Night. Shadow Candy is the only threat in this night, and we can finally see what's inside the hidden room camera 13.
Shadow Candy will leave Cam 13 and teleport to one of the cams. You need to find him as fast as possible. If he's not on any of them, turn on/off the night vision to find him, and stare at him to send him back to Cam 13.
If he's not in cams, then he's at cam 4, 5, or 6. The doorways instantly close the door to send him back to another cam.
He'll knock on the door really fast, causing your power to drain. But what if you let him in? Well, he won't kill you, but he'll do something worse: he'll cause time to go back by one hour and be completely frozen. So, how to unfreeze it? Well, on our desk is an origami cat. When Shadow Candy attacks, this origami cat is gone. The only way to make things go back to normal is to find the origami cat in the cameras.
One last thing: if your power reaches 0 after like 5 seconds, Shadow Candy instantly attacks. This bitch allows no mercy, but eventually, we kick his ass, and unlock Cam 13.
and oh? who might this guy be
there's a guy talking in the background so i'll let him say his thing
"I feel that...time...is...is...bleeding from my hands.
I don't know if I'm going insane or something.
Nothing works.
I know it should work, but it just doesn't.
It's like he's...
*chuckles*
I guess I just need to sleep.
As much as I hate having to spent my time like that.
Unconscious and lifeless...like him.
I won't stop until he's absolutely perfect.
End of audio log."
the forgotten ones eyes lit up and it ends
final verdict
What can I say other than the fact that it's really, really good? It's just a better fnaf 1 and 2. The game looks gorgeous, even by today's standards. The only real complaint I can think of is that some of the characters could've had some more interesting mechanics. However, it's not that big of a deal. The game gets a 9/10 from me. See ya in part 2!
