The game began development over a year ago now, and after a failed partnership with various internet programmers, enough time has passed and I’ve got the experience under my belt to helm the project in it’s entirety myself.

I won’t beat a dead horse with this but it bares finalizing the point that relying on the help of a partner rarely pans out, due in high likelihood to the fact that I can definitely be sort of a prick. What can I say, I know what I want when it comes to my projects.

Anyway, personal roadblocks aside, fans of the 2D version of the game should be excited to know the project has a fresh start. The Hellish fish of the blood lake made their 3D debut in a little game called “Blood Bath Bay” earlier this year. Few people know their designs came from the 2D “Nightmare Fishing Tournament”.

Anyway, some pretty big plans are being put into action with the 3D revival, the old characters will be there, from Clyde, Jasper, Stumpy and even the Shop Reaper himself, along with a new character I’m particularly excited about ( More on that to come )

I’m also planning a new “Taming” feature, which allows you a chance to actually domesticate captured demon fish in order to ride them into battle and keep them at your side as allies.

The future is looking good on this one, and due to the majority of the models/animations having already been developed, putting this one together has come along very quickly. I look forward to a release hopefully in the near future, ideally a corresponding debut shooting for Halloween would be most ideal.
