First is Five Nights at Sonic’s 1 Remastered: The Opening Week by @superkirbyjs .

Overall, this is probably the BEST FNaS 1 game EVER. I truly don’t think the ones I’ve played previously are better than this despite my issues with TOW. FNaS 1 1.0 is…FNaS 1 1.0. (Developer aside), FNaS 1 2.0 was definitely an improvement and laid the groundwork for some of this game’s cues. And when it comes to other ones? 

I’ve played Five Nights at Sonic’s: Redacted which I really like but that game changes the FNaS story to be solely Sonic characters and I’m friends with the developer so I’ll try not to be biased there. 

FNaS 1 Classic from the original “The Pizza Palace Package” by Inferno_i_guess I played, it’s no longer available but it’s basically a recode of FNaS 1 with most of the art redrawn, it’s okay I guess but the stars might be glitched for the All-Out Mode. FNaS Remushroom/Redash, Remushroom was a CN game which was decent from what I can remember and Redash was cancelled I think? The build that was released was buggy asf iirc. FNaS Shimmered which was also cancelled but I was beta tester for the game so I got to play a few builds before the artstyle change and eventual cancellation.

FNaS Once Again which seems to also be unavailable now but it had a build released where it the 1 night in it was coded to be 20 AI for a tease of the game.

Finally there was Five Nights at Sonic's: RECODED which is the one with the withered clones in FNaS 1. This one was not very good when I played it, I think it bugged and I couldn’t go past Night 1 so yeah. 

As you can probably tell, these games (minus Redacted of course), ranged from okay to pretty mid/bad. So yeah, The Opening Week tops them all. 

I’m even more excited now to see how FNaS 4 Rehaunted, FNaS 5 TFC Time Rewind, and Hedgehog Horror go. I’m still wondering if Mighty’s Burger Rings Stars that was teased after Night 8 in Reopened will get a payoff too.

In terms of FNaS 4 Rehaunted’s “”competition””, the only thing that comes to my mind that I’ve personally played is Alternate Edition Rounds 1&2, and the recode of FNaS 4’s Custom Night in the Rehaunted Troll Demo.

Props to the team for making the definitive FNaS 1, for real this time! 💙

Overall, I think this was a pretty decent build for what was completed and I can see the vision. Maybe someday someone could pick this up and finish it!
