About Research & Development (dw it’s a good thing)


I’m alive! Hello!

I’ve been tinkering with various projects over the course of the year and can confidently say I’m ready to get back to work on Research & Development. I like rambling about my ideas so that’s the main point of this post. No images yet (the game won’t look very interesting until I work on models and whatnot) but I do have ideas and already-implemented systems.

Research & Development is primarily focused on the occupational hazards that go along with working for Fazbear Entertainment. You know how equipment is always a little broken? Now it can kill you!

There will be a singular main monster, with other primarily threats being faulty equipment during your daily tasks and the bitter cold of a record-breaking snowstorm in the mountains of Utah.

I’ve set up a few things already: per-limb health, bleeding, sanity, hygiene (The monster can smell you). I have a lot of work to do, revising the player controller, completely rewriting the save system, etc. I hope to have more substantial updates soon. I’ll probably look around for artists soon… still working on getting stuff back after losing my Discord account earlier this year
