The following is a message from the entity known as Gryphon.
Hey all, coming to you with the first minor progress report. The screenshot you see above shows the Snow weather effect, noon time, the power building, and the golf cart.
Travel:
A very important part of FNAF R&D is travel. The power building is the furthest landmark from the main base. When the lights go out in the middle of the night, leaving your base cold and lifeless, you have no choice but to make the long, uneasy drive to the power building or risk the place getting too cold...
Other landmarks will be dotted around as well, which I'll tell you about when I actually make them haha.
Weather and Temperature:
It's the middle of Winter in the Salt Lake mountains, and it gets cold. There's a temperature system in the game that goes up when you're indoors and goes down when you're outdoors. There's also a weather cycle: Clear, Snowy, Blizzard, and Thunderstorm. Clear is safe, with no temperature decay. Snowy and Blizzard are chilly, so be careful. Thunderstorms are the worst of it, with extreme cold and lightning that can knock out your base's power once per storm.
The Golf Cart:
Your main mode of travel. It slowly consumes fuel, so make sure you keep it topped up. Currently it's untextured because marking UV seams fries my brain fdgjkhdfh
Power:
Fazbear Entertainment really needs to make facilities that aren't powered by 2 AA batteries. When the lights go out, interact with the transformer in the Power Building (marked with a yellow light tower instead of the base's red light tower) to set the power back to 100. You can also reset the power while the lights are still on to stay prepared.
That's all for now. Working on the designs for various threats. I hope to have a video showcase soon. :)
Message concluded.
