Alpha 4 and Beyond

Alpha 4 is coming soon, with that we’re introducing an updater similar to League of Legends or Minecraft that’ll update your game automatically when we introduce new updates, so make sure you allow network usage in Windows if it asks.

We are currently 99% of the way to the top 100 in Greenlight, so that’s pretty neat.

Alpha 4 will also fix a lot of bugs introduced in 3. And Alpha 5 will be our first attempt at open world awesomeness. We’ve got a lot of work to do but things are coming along. I’ve got a good number of buildings modeled and textured; good number being very few, BUT I’m trying to make a couple that can be varied greatly, like apartment buildings. I made the bottom floor, middle floor, and top floor all they’re own thing, so I can copy paste copy paste the middle floor a billion times, so 50 story apartment buildings here we come. Divided by 10.

Our Indiegogo is almost over, highly unsuccessful but it’s not a problem, we haven’t promoted it very well, but we probably will launch a Kickstarter after Alpha 5. Reason being is that we want to make this game, we need money to pay the team and pay rent, and we want to be able to push our ideas further and it does cost money to develop games. We try to do occasional freelance work for spots of money, but freelance work is sparse and takes up precious time. Kinda feels like jogging in place.

But thank you for the support so far. You guys are awesome.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
