Alpha Version 0.3.0 Released!

Hi Cat RPGers! I just uploaded Version 0.3.0 and wanted to share some quick notes on changes.

In 0.3.0:

  • Added in the loved and renown, Mr. Bojangles.
-Numerous bug fixes, items fixes/ additions, and changes to dialogue.
-Improved guidance for quests. (Quest start/end /rewards notifications)
-New quest added, improved previous quests.
    -Some new character dialogue portraits.
-Changed inventory to 10 open slots. This is temporary till I make a better inventory system.

  • Minor tutorial improvements. Improvements to the tutorial and mechanics is something I’m going to work on immediately for 0.4.0

  • ???

Currently: Jane continues to work on new art and battlers graphics. I’m going to work on adding in several new quests and an improved tutorial.

We love your thoughts and feedback! As always you can comment here on GameJolt, at @SecularBaron , or email me at [email protected].

Thanks for playing everyone!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

The whole squad is here!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
