Also while stargazing I also explained to my little sister that the word "Planet" came from the Greek word for "Wanderer"

Planan (Wanderer in greek) > Planētēs (Wanderer, Planet in greek) > Planeta/Planetes (Late Latin) > Planete (Old French) > Planet (Middle English)

Had to Google the etymology of the word. But still
