AMAZER Weekly Release #5


So Guys, New Version. Again!

Since last months, I’ve been developing the random level generation mechanic. Its done (mostly) but the only problem is the low fps when the game calculate the navigation path. I did not include it in this version but there is more.

Changelog

  • New Wall Design

    • Thinner wall (Larger Hallway)

    • Special wall with Decal (Pixelated)

  • New Cubik Variant

    • Lasrik (With Projectile)

      • Constantly Fire Laser when player in range

      • 2 fire per second

      • Half a Heart decreased per shot

    • Chompik (Without Projectile)

      • Consume Pill/PowerUp upon collision

      • Increased Hit Point for every Pill/PowerUp consumed

      • Stunned after consuming 10 Pill / 1 PowerUp

  • New Gun System

    • Left Lethal Gun

      • Fire tiny beam

      • 1 Hit Point per shot

        • 10 Hit Point for average Cubik Variant

      • 15 round per reload

    • Right Stun Gun

      • Fire classic ball

      • 1 second stun per shot

      • 10 Hit Point per shot on PowerUp

      • 15 round per reload

  • Special Ability

    • X-ray Vision (more to come)

      • See through Wall

      • Hold left alt to trigger

  • Xbox 360 controller supported!

    • In game only (Not on menu section)

      • Sorry but I’ll not tell the mapping

        • Guys try it out and tell me if it’s intuitive enough

Explosive domino effect

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
