among us mode concept: Infection

One Impostor Roams the ship, lights are always down, if you try to fix them it works for 20 seconds

If the impostor kills, the person they kill die for 10 seconds then become an impostor themselves.

Tasks cannot save you, however there are specific missions across the map that allows you to repair the escape pod, if all crewmates escape via the escape pod they win.

Better In Skeld, Polus And Airship, Due to the ability to circle round the entire map without coming across the impostor.

The Impostor However, has 3 abilities, that decrease with more impostors/infected crewmates.

1 Impostor = 3

3 Impostor = 2

5 Impostor = 1

7+ Impostor = 0

Ability 1: Scan Area, Scans the area by a 50cm by 50cm radius, if a crewmate is in the radius, a ping sound will play, pinging not only the location on the map for 3 seconds but alerting the crewmate too.

Ability 2: Shapeshift, Shapeshift into any crewmate for 30 seconds, you can still kill but you turn back to impostor if you attempt to kill the crewmate [you try to kill]

Ability 3: Vent, You Can Vent In Any Vent, Once Every 20-40 seconds [customizable]. However, if you do vent the crewmates get a "ventilation warning" which recommends they stay away from the vent.

The Round will last until the crewmates get to the pod and escape or all of them turn into impostors. [however it will automatically end at 30 minutes due to lack of oxygen, bc at 25 minutes in the o2 gets sabotaged]

It also somewhat acts like hide and seek in a way with a meter to tell you how close the impostor is, however every now and again communications crashes and the meter doesn't update until it's rebooted [happens automatically]

Recommended for 10-15 players.

Impostors can close doors however it might stun one of their abilities to not charge or work next time they do it, the stun lasts for 10 seconds. [like i said recommended for skeld, polus and airship due to them actually having doors that close]

If Game is played on mira hq, it makes it a lot easier for the impostor to win, and i don't even think there's an escape pod on mira hq. idk.

Skeld's escape pod is located by the eject trash [seen in animations]

Polus's Escape pod is located by the start area [dropship]

Airship's Escape Pod Is located by the loading bay


I'd love this to become reality, but i doubt innersloth would even consider a infection mode, or even a tag mode [post on that soon]
