Hello everyone... My name is Miranda Thompson. I have dedicated myself to the fascinating research of lost media. For context, Lost media is a piece of media that is commonly too dark to go onto TV, and as Such, gets scrapped or put away.
Today, I recently discovered a VHS tape of my childhood show, Stickin' Around. The show was about 2 best friends who are Stickmen, named Stacy Stickler and Bradley. Other characters consisted of Lance, Bradley's bully, Dil, the loud kid, Russell, Lance's accomplice that never leaves his side, and Polly, Lance's half sister.
Upon examining the dusty old tape, it seemed to be worn down from time. It said on the front, "Stickin' Around Demo Episode". I was curious. Strangely Enough, it appeared to be 3 years old, and was sitting here for a while.
I went downstairs to my VHS player, and put the VHS in. Before the intro, it said "April 20th, 1998". This was apparently after the Series finale, so I figured that this was a scrapped finale. I was hesitant to play it, since usually, these stories turn out to be pretty screwed up, Especially with the content. However, I needed to see this to believe it.
The Intro then started. I always loved the intro, and as such, I couldn't help but sing along in my head. Then, it got to the electrocution part. I chuckled at this one, as I've always found Stacy getting electrocuted kind of hilarious because of her skeleton. Of course, she said, "Real Mature, Bradley!" in her annoying voice.
Bradley pulled the lever, but... Something went wrong. Stacy got electrocuted, but not in the funny cartoon way that shows her skeleton. She let out a wail of everlasting agony, and her skin started to peel away from her body. She let out pained yells as her body was engulfed. Bradley, who was at first laughing like normal, was now horrified upon seeing this. He ran to the lever and shut off the machine.
Stacy's body was burnt to a crisp faster than a steak on a sidewalk on a hot Summer day, and It wasn't pretty. She was in so much agonizing pain, to the point where she was sobbing.
The intro stopped. The title card simply said: "And I Must Scream".
Bradley ran to his house, carrying Stacy's unconcious body. He worried, as every minute, he felt Stacy's life slip away. He picked up a needle and a thread. He ran to Stacy in fear, hoping to rescue his best friend from certain death.
Stacy slowly woke up from her passing out. "What... Happened... Bradley?..." Stacy mustered under her breath. I didn't see her, as it was from her POV. "Good, you're awake," Bradley happily said. "I have some good news and bad news," Bradley said. "Which do you wanna hear first?
"I... Wanna hear... Good news..." Stacy muttered. Something seemed... Off. Stacy's voice sounded incredibly raspy and quiet. "Well..." Bradley hesitated, looking at the floor in a somber mood. "Good news is that... I found a way to keep you alive... But the bad news is... Well... You might wanna check the mirror..."
Stacy got up shakily. She hesitantly walked towards a mirror. She stared into it, and the most gruesome part of the Episode was shown. Stacy had apparently been sewed together, and her eyes were pouring crimson liquid.
"B-Bradley... Wh-What... H-Have y-you... Do-Done... T-To... Me...?" Stacy did not move for 8 seconds. After that, she attempts to scream out, but due to the stitches, she can't wail. "Stacy covered her mouth and stared at Bradley. Her fear turned to fury upon seeing him. "YOU TURNED ME INTO A FREAK!!!"
Stacy furiously pushed Bradley into a wall. She was boiling, since she looked horrific. "St-Stacy... Aren't w-we... Friends?" Stacy angrily yelled, "FRIENDS DO NOT TURN EACH OTHER INTO FREAKS BRADLEY!!!"
The 2 stared quietly for a few seconds. Stacy uttered angrily, "Thank you for nothing..." Bradley, shocked and appalled, replied "You know what... I don't care... Thank YOU for nothing..."
"I hate you..." Stacy furiously hissed. The two walked away... And never spoke again, as shown. The credits rolled, and The VHS ejected. I stared in shock, and simply packed the VHS away, and sent it away to the Lost Media center. While I got over the incident days later, I still have the entire plot burned into the back of my skull...
Just remember this...
Stacy is out there somewhere...
And she...
Must...
SCREAM.
