- Lack of motivation (which is the big one) to keep the series going, as it was just burning me out a lot
- Having to tend to many other projects of mine not related to making games
With that, I will not be updating UCBN anymore, nor will I make a prequel game. But, that doesn't mean I'm done making games, I might make another type of game in the future, who knows.

And with the final update (V1.3.0) out for Ultimate Cat Basket Night, I will be discontinuing the game and the series, due to several different reasons:
