Well, here it is! I've decided I'm officially ready to announce that the project I've currently been working on is a remastered and continued version of Digital Nightmare, titled 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗲: 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱. Took a bit to think of a proper name, but I think it's pretty cool myself, also gave me the surge symbols to work with for the logo which I find pretty fun!
Anyways, onto what you all want to know about - the game itself. This will still be a custom night game, obviously, as was announced in the last blog. And the roster will still be limited to Steel Wool's entries within the FNAF series (FNAF Help Wanted, Security Breach, Secret of The Mimic, and so on) and the content surrounding them such as Security Breach themed books and merchandise! Though of course the list of characters under this umbrella has massively expanded since I was last actively updating Digital Nightmare.
Obviously the roster won't only be 40 characters, it's a *lot* more than that, though that isn't to say each and every character from the original 212 will return in this game, as this game is being recoded and rerendered from the ground up. However, more characters from the original cast can and will still have a chance to return after the game comes out, as this project will of course have regular updates after release with new characters and features, as is pretty much standard for games in this genre by now.
Progress on the game is going insanely steadily, as currently over 𝟱𝟬 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱. And it doesn't stop there, as pretty much all of the game's core features are programmed as well! Expect a demo very soon, potentially around Halloween? No promises though!
That's all for this post! Could possibly include a gameplay teaser of some sort with the next post? Definitely expect a game page within the coming months as well once we're ready to push out something big! But for the time being, roster updates will certainly come out at an increased rate, so be on the lookout for that!
