Happy Halloween, everyone! I'm sure you might be wondering when the game is going to come out. I mean, I did plan for it to be released this Halloween, though one of my offline pals caught this bug in the game where everyone's most-mocked blood-crying being just speeds right past Tails without colliding with him! Accidental good ending, perhaps? XD
While I get the bugs sorted out, I've decided to push the release back to sometime around November, just so there's plenty of time to get this sorted out! When it does release, it'll simply contain the main route with no Easter eggs or secrets to find at all. I just want to get the basic stuff down before I develop it further via updates.
As the game develops, here's some stuff I plan to include:
The three secret levels from Version 7 of the original game, fleshed out to feel like Sonic levels, as a way of unlocking a hidden Sonic level!
The option of toggling between the original soundtrack and that of the official remake, SONIC 2011.
Perhaps some more stuff made to bring Crimson Sonic.exe back into a spotlight?
Maybe a couple of Easter eggs?
I would've shared some trailer for this for @luigikidgaming ![]()
's EXE Direct yesterday, but I don't think my project's ready for that grand a reveal just yet! Hopefully the other projects seen there will be fun for you guys to enjoy while I work on this! You know, seeing Jason Griffith as Sonic and KGBepis as Xenophanes together was a big surprise! It's official, folks! Sonic and Sonic.exe have officially canonically arm-wrestled! X3
"Oh, but UltimateEXEFan05," I hear you ask. "Is there going to be anything distinguishing this remake than just being made in Clickteam and Devy's Simple Sonic Worlds 1.1?" Why, I'm glad you asked, metaphorical future player! I've been working on code that actually reacts to repeat playthroughs and how a player's feeling about redoing things again. Sometimes it may add minor tweaks or cause events to happen sooner! You want to get the game over and done with quickly? Sonic.exe will sort that out accordingly for you!
Hopefully I can get the release version of this game out, especially with how controlling my parents have been in refusing to let me pursue my own creative dreams... Honestly, this is a culmination of my own love for Sonic.exe's highs and misgivings, and it could hopefully lead to me making original works of my own in the future.
I really hope you guys enjoy the game when it comes out! Honestly... even a little bit of approval from somebody is enough for me to get through the roughest days.
