Things are definitely on the move now, here in Ryanna’s world.
I’ve finished the base animations for Nino, also in combat, and as you can see, I turned him into a bit of a fencer, which was quite a challenge to animate, but it worked better than I imagined. This cave location is just an obstacle to go through, not really that special, but it gives me as a developer the change to work things out more properly. Especially Ryanna needs some extra work to be done, and I do plan to focus on that. Nino on the other hand is (at least when it comes to combat) as good as ready to go, all I need to do is to animate his spells, but that won’t make the game crash or anything. That’s just a cosmetic thing.
This will be the first dungeon to feature a PUZZLE, and yeah, this will cause Ryanna to say nasty things about that, but I guess that’s just the way she is. But since this game is a parody to clichés, hey Ryanna just HAD to bash down those puzzles.
The city of Windville is basically done now. In other words the game is now really taking shape, most of all content wise.
