Arctic V.01 now available for download


Dear The Arctic fans,

Us here at The Arctic have some unfortunate news for you. Our primary programmer has needed to indefinitely resign from the team due to family issues. This is a case of pure bad luck for all of us. Due to the lack of a necessary team member, we have decided to postpone production in order to provide a quality game in the future, rather than struggle to produce one now with an incomplete development team. You have our sincerest apologies. We would love to continue production, but it is truly not feasible for us at this time. To everyone involved in our donor program, we will be providing the game files as it is now at NO COST. We greatly appreciate your support, and sincerely apologize for not being able to provide what we wanted to provide you with. We may continue development at our own pace, but only if the fans really want it. This game will be free to play as of now. This game really isn’t playable that much but it gives you a feel of what we got done in less than 2 weeks. Enjoy.

Building is implemented. Keys for building: Start Building: B Move Block Up: Pg up Move Block Down: Pg down Place: E We may continue development on The Arctic at a later date so stay tuned!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
