So I thought of remaking the stages from scratch using a new engine. The cutscenes will most likely remain in their current condition.
Although, I... don't really know the name of that engine. It's the same one used for Death of Freedom Fighters REMAKE EDITION... and also for Sonic.exe Blood Tears DLC. A modern Sonic engine with dash, red rings, homing attack and other cool features used in modern Sonic games.
If anyone knows the name of that engine please let me know so I can find it!

This is an early prototype of how the Character select screen and the characters were going to look like... before I decide to work on the game.
The designs changed later on to fit the ones from "A Fox's Story", and because I prefer the modgen style.
