These " “official” for Half-Life 2D, but even though Valve had granted them the rights—making it legal—it was still taken down because the original publisher went bankrupt. A few years later, the domain names were bought up after they expired and turned into an adult site, as far as I understand. So Valve removed them for that reason, since the links from the company that produced these games now lead to an inappropriate site.
There is a way to get these games legally on Steam, but the method is a bit hidden. However, I won’t explain how I got them because the URLs have now become adult sites that might even contain viruses.
