Welp, i bet you all did not expect to see them like this, right? I got this idea while playing Mario 3 and noticed how every Bro throws different stuff based not on the shell, but the Scale colour.
If you really think about it, every koopa's shell works the same way (unless you're playing Super Mario World)
So here's who does what:
Green- Walks forward without stopping
Red- Turns around on edges
Blue- Flies in a straight line
Yellow- Hammer Bro. Throws Hammers at you
Purple- Moves fast and jumps over objects up to 4 blocks tall
Gray- Dry Bones. Always walks in your direction, immune to lava, and gets back together a few seconds after you stomp it.
However for people who perfer the old designs, the game's world map would have Capitan Toad with a stand where you can buy stuff like Power-Ups and Alternative Sprites, and Classic Koopas would definitely be on the list
