Lately I've been feeling more motivated than ever. I love programming, and I love finding solutions for everything. However, I forgot to give updates on how the game is going, and I think I should. I even forgot to mention that I switched to Turbowarp, which, while not 100% important, shows that I'm not very attentive to the community (a community of 2 people who follow this game lol).

(Beta Footage that may change)
First and foremost, gameplay is my top priority when programming. The night system, battery life, and animatronic AI are about 70% complete, though I still need to polish the visuals. I accidentally messed up how the door looks when the light is turned on and off, but since it's just a cosmetic detail, I'll probably fix it right before launch or in a later update. Also, the variables (orange squares) will be changed to numbers in future updates so that it doesn't look bad.

I'd say the cameras are about 65% complete. They're working well for now, but four cameras are still missing, I accidentally deleted the Pirate Cove, and the animatronics don't appear when they move. I'll obviously fix that, because even though gameplay is my priority, how can anyone play a game where they can't see anything?

The story is definitely the most important aspect of a FNAF game. You have to be clear about that: it has to be reasonably good, and you have to tell it in a way that sparks the player's interest. Interestingly, I was thinking about it yesterday, and I imagined that everyone who saw the game's website probably thought the Freddys were coming to your house for revenge or something like that, lol. But let's get back to the topic. This game will have a story that's probably easy to understand. But... how will I tell it? I've already got that covered. Here are some things I'll do:
Minigames where you discover how the story began
Post-Shift where you discover secrets and curiosities of the place
Phone calls where they explain one thing or another
"But wait! It all sounds very long. Would you mind giving a brief explanation?" Of course, imaginary friend! Without major spoilers, of course.

For a time, the Fazbear company was desperate to turn things around and make some money. Some employees found an old warehouse containing parts of Freddy's costumes and animatronic prototypes. It wasn't enough for a new pizzeria, however, so they decided to create a museum dedicated to Freddy's history. With the little budget they had left, they slowly rebuilt a copy of the Freddy's Fazbear Pizza building, although the animatronics and advertisements were also left, which somewhat limited their plans due to the lack of money. One year later, the museum is almost finished. However, they've also moved the animatronics to the new location, and back then, just one or two of them were worth a fortune. They started looking for guards to protect the place from potential thieves who might have found out about it, and that's when you come in.

Well, we're nearing the end. However, before that, I'll leave some information that's probably important for the game.
You will be able to save your game with your Gamejolt account
4 Normal night, 1 Boss fight, 1 Extra Night and 1 Custom Night
In case you haven't noticed, the main enemies are all variants of Freddy.
It will be playable in HTML (browser) although an .EXE version might be possible
In case it wasn't clear, most of the textures that appear in the first version will change over time to increase quality.
Well, that's all. Thank you so much for reading!
