Back with more additions!


So it’s Thursday and I’m back, I got a lot done today and yesterday. I know I said I’d be off but I couldn’t resist doing a bit of work. So, here’s what I’ve done:

Main:
+Perks
+Tacticals(Grenades,etc)
+Running enemies
+A few test animations
+Shooting is now done with Raycasting (*)
+Placeholder models
+Pause Menu with nice text effect
+Added barriers(Windows that enemies have to get through)
+Added decal placeholders(including enemy effects)
+Added a few sounds(which will change)
+Stabilised build for my testers

Additional:
+Fixed AI getting stuck
+Fixed AI being able to attack and kill instantly

So I put up a poll which had three options but two main options - “Raycasting or Physical”. Raycasting won the vote by 2 votes. As of right now Physical is winning but the vote ended 2 days ago with Raycasting in the lead. I’ve kept a few of the physical bullets code in there just in case I for some reason need to switch back.

Can you guess what this perk does? There’s no model for them right now but there will be before EA hopefully.

Next up

A heads up. I might be silent but I will still be working on the game, I can promise that. Here’s a snippet of code, I only noticed what it read after I wrote it.

A quick screenshot. Just released the build to my testers, it’s has a name because it’s special, “The Graphics Patch”. Now, I really need to model those perk machines…

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
