Thankfully, I have a version of AL:A that I sent to a friend a couple of days ago, where I hardly made any changes since. So I have a backup for that one! However, after extensive research on the problem my PC has encountered, I have concluded that I do not have the resources to fix it, and that the following games are either going to have to be remade, or completely cancelled. And these pain me a lot, and include both public works and some that I was working on on the side.
Legend:
R - Remade - Not cancelled, but must be made from the ground up. This mainly goes to projects that I see as either worth the effort, or my passion projects, like the primary Adrenic Legends: Black Dragon series.
CFN - Cancelled For Now - I won't work on it for a long time and if it's listed on GJ, it will be marked as cancelled. I will definitely get back to them in the future.
C - Cancelled - I might not work on it ever again, based on how difficult it was to get working, or if I just scrapped the idea entirely. Small chance to get back to them in the future.
U - Undecided - As I have no idea as to whether or not it's intact, I have no clue whether I'll have to scrap it or if I can continue with it.
Adrenic Legends: Black Dragon: Anxor's Rise - R
Fairy Tail Fan Game - R
Bound By Blood (Working Title) - CFN
Endos - CFN
Hack of the Sacred Swords - U
My Hero Academia Unnamed Fan Game - CFN
Sword Art Online: Memory Reboot - C
Many may become upset at the final one, and it's understandable. However, after a couple years of trying to get things planned for it, I found that I had no real ideas. More importantly, I could never find the time to work on it with my other projects. It was a great idea, no doubt. But for now, I'm not as into SAO as I was back in Freshman year of HS five years ago, and as much as two years ago. I want to focus on my main series and make it the best that I can, as those are the stories that I want to leave behind one day.
I understand that most of my fanbase was made because of my SAO game. I really wanted to deliver, but the spark wasn't there. It hurts to say all of this, honestly and truly. I just can't see a way for me to complete something that I have no interest in, or time for. For those of you who stuck around for SAO, I thank you for the journey and the support.
For those who stick around for more than just SAO, then I offer my sincerest, immense gratitude that you stick around for me and my ideas. It means the world and a half to me! Love you all, and I'm sorry for the upsetting news. I love you all once more and remember, as always.
Game On.
Alec
