pls dont kill me for these opinions, i just wanted to share an opinion of mine, ok?
i think the lack of any real canon romance from Boxal and Pix with OTHER Toons and OCs (counting out Boxten,) is why i find them so fitting in the setting, if all the Toons are from a simple kids show in the game, and are just friends with one another prob because of said show in the game, then why make Boxal and Pix any different?
ofc kids media can have romance (albeit subtle,) but Dandy's World just doesnt seem to be the type to rlly do that, sure it can have a deep narrative for episodes for it's in-game show, but with how cute the art style seems to be going the entire time ur there, its not that likely, not to mention we dont know a lot about said show's target audience, which can have a big impact on how a show goes, so hate to break it to ya, but it seems Dandy's World and romance are just not good in the same setting.
