Big JOAT News

Alright guys, this is some big news that I’ve been meaning to mention for a while now.
I’ll be quick - Jellyfish on a Train, as a game, is dead. To be honest, it shouldn’t have been a game to begin with. The story was far too linear, and not very well suited for a game. When I realized this, I came to an important conclusion: the story would do much better off in another medium.

What medium have I chosen to rework the story in? A one-off webcomic. I’ve been making comics WAY longer than I’ve been making games, and this story is special to me. I want it to live up to it’s potential. I hope you all read it when it releases.

I’m hoping to get it done before the year is over, and I’ll be sure to post a link here when the comic is ready. Expect a more solid release date by summer.

If you’d like to stay up to date with this and other projects of mine, follow my Tumblr, my Twitter, or my main webcomic.

Thanks for reading,
—Brodnork

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

a drawing I did because I was bored😪. But I love how it turned out.😊

Made my first ever animation.

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?

This is my first post so be gentle!
