Build 0.3.0 Now Available!


This is a big one! The version blows the jam version out of the water!

UX Changes

  • Window is resizable

  • GUI now scales properly

  • Stats displayed after each run

  • Cool intro thing

  • Background for Menu

  • Borders for buttons

Gameplay Changes

  • Explosions are shorter but have an aftereffect

  • D Shot now called Directional Shot, fires the direction the player is moving as well as in the opposite direction

  • N Shot now fires faster and also shoots in two directions at once, is no longer worthless

New Stuff

  • Player thruster particles

  • Gamepad vibration! (This can be disabled)

  • Super obvious sound effect for losing shields

  • Sound effect for start of Wave

Next up will be Full Controller Support and a config file to store user preferences.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
