Canceled but that's not the end.



  • Hello everyone, I apologize for having spent two years without posting anything about the game, a lot of personal problems lead to the game being cancelled, but it's not the end yet, recently I started studying hard to become a game dev, I'm studying game maker a lot and when I'll have a better computer I will start studying unreal engine 5 too. So I decided to turn Red's Mechanophobia into an original game, probably It's going to happen in a few years, I don't know when, but be patient, I'm not going to leave Gamejolt and will launch fan games that I'm going to make on my YouTube channel. While I was making the game I went through many changes such as: story, character, game name, mechanics, etc... Here are two gifs of game one at the end of 2022 and in August 2023, which was when the project stopped.

first time I make a decent song with soundfont, I hardly ever use it, I'm not used to using soundfont.

I love the way this model is turning out.

So, things have been quiet. Well, reason being we're retexturing work and planning more stuff that'll go into the final. I can't show the other version, but have this one

I made some place_holder animations, to leave them already programmed in the game. I'll probably redo the movement and animation later.

I've redone the MR.Block model and, as I'm training with 3D engines, I've decided to turn it into a 3D platformer game. I'm going to recreate the project in Godot, Unity and Unreal to test and choose the best engine.
