Captain Disaster in "The Dark Side of the Moon" released!

After a 20 week devlopment cycle (the last 4 of which was intensive beta testing), Team Disaster are proud to announce their first adventure game release - Captain Disaster in “The Dark Side of the Moon”.

CDiTDSotM is a classic style point and click adventure game, featuring the intrepid but somewhat dim “Captain Disaster”, a character who starred in a series of comedy science fiction short stories a number of years back, and who I always wanted to have feature in adventure games. The captain sleepwalks through an open StarGate onto a deserted moon - there’s more to the plot than first meets the eye, however.

This game is best suited to those with a long-standing love of point and click adventure games. My own love affair with the genre started with Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders, then cemented on The Secret of Monkey Island - both of these classic games and many more are referenced in Dark Side.

Two other Captain Disaster games (both commercial) are currently in development - but Dark Side will always be the first!
