So I wasn't happy with just ending the game at the extras menu. I mean if the replay ability wasn't enough adding extra routes tons of Easters eggs to find and game having tons of maps and content to explore and finally all 7 endings that you can get that I spent 1 year making I just had to add some extra content!
Challange Night is like custom night but better. Sure there is not much customizations but it was traded off with something better. Being able to face off in new locations with some new animatronics exclusive to challenge night. Some locations from past or future games. Completely new characters! Whats not to love?
Right Now the goal is at least 10 or 9 challenge nights. Though I may set this back to 6 or 7 or even 8. (I want to get this game out in July and hopefully make sure it doesn't past that month) Each Night is different and right now I have finished 3 and currently am working on the 4th one as we speak. So what's the point of this? Well too offer a challenge for people to complete. The challenge nights have some locations from normal the campaign like fazbear waterpark and Nightbear's bar and grill. While also having new locations with new characters Such as The new fredbear's or Vintage Fredbear's. AS you can see from the first image there is actually an hard mode. Hard mode makes the animatronics faster, Adds a new hidden animatronic that has a different AI and changes up the style of the location.
Hard mode can change even most desolate places into literal hell. It also will change the animatronics look as well and there AI a little bit. This will provide challenge and epicenes.
Now I am not sure if its fit to put Easter eggs in these maps cause you most likely wont have time to really look for them under constant attack. The primary gameplay is one defending the constant horde. However I may let players get VHS tapes and take them back to the custom night menu for them to play there results. It may be a hard mode exclusive thing. Not sure yet. I still want there to be a reason to play normal mode other then looking at what the place looked like before hard mode.
Testing builds have been released to the beta testers for the 3 challenge nights. But while this happens and because you most likely will find this out later let me show you some spoilers. Up above we have Dragon Foxy. He will breathe fire when he gets close to you and will kill you, Then jumpscare you. Pretty neat huh? He also follows you everywhere. Kind of of like nightbear on night 4 and 5 of FNAFB 2. So you got to avoid him along with some other animatronics that you may have seen in the teasers >:D I will let you guess there names and who is returning from past games.
Anyways hopefully I have some showcase video on the development of this game soon. I hope you enjoyed reading this. If you want to stay updated on it I recommended subbing to my new youtube channel!
