Ruby Heart (Marvel vs. Capcom 2)

Ruby Heart was a scrapped character Capcom created for the Darkstalker franchise. While they were making Marvel vs. Capcom 2, they decided to reuse the concept for this character and made her an original character to the series, along side Amingo.

Dormammu (Marvel Comics)

Dr. Strange's arch nemesis joins the fight. Dormammu is the ruler of the Dark Dimension and tried to conquer Earth numerous times, often being thwarted by the Sorcerer Supreme (Whoever it was at the time Dormammu invaded)

Mike Haggar (Final Fight)

Haggar was a former wrestler and is the Mayor of Metro City (until Cody takes over in SFV). Just because he's the mayor doesn't mean he's rusty. Hell, in Final Fight, Haggar (alongside Guy & Cody) fought their way through the notorious Mad Gear Gang within Metro City to save Jessica Haggar.

Earthquake (Samurai Shodown)

You know the saying, "Looks decieve"? Well, this guy is a prime example of that saying. Call him fat all you want, this guy is fast. Earthquake is a Texan who trained under the same master as Galford (another Samurai Shodown character). But quit due to his bad ties with Galford. While Amakusa is causing havoc, Earthquake used the opportunity to steal all of the world's treasure.

Shermie (The King of Fighters)

The busty and cheerful member of CYS, a band that rival's Iori Yagami's band. Her friend Yashiro has a personal grudge against Iori. But enough about that. Shermie is a grappler (surprisingly). And a fast one too. But there is more to her than what meets in the eye...

Alex (Street Fighter)

This wrestler is the star in Street Fighter III. Watch out for his Power Bombs. His parents died at a young age, and was adopted by his father's good friend, Tom. In Street Fighter III and Street Fighter III 2nd Impact, Alex has it out for Gill due to him injuring Tom. In Third Strike, Alex had a battle against Ryu and lost. Ever since that battle, Alex wanted to challenge Ryu again.
