Changing to Unreal Engine???

We are currently deciding if we are going to change the game from Clickteam to Unreal Engine. This is for many reasons but mainly to improve gameplay and decrease limitations.

There are many pros and cons to this decision:

Pros:

  • With Clickteam there comes limitations with what we want to do with the game so UE will be able to expand on these ideas

  • Clickteam will allow us to create more realistic and better environments and gameplay for the game

  • Clickteam is a lot less reliable than UE

  • Unreal Engine's rendering capabilities are spectacular when used correctly

  • UE has a higher capacity than Clickteam

Cons:

  • This will take longer to code and make due to the complexity of the engine

  • Depending on how big the game is, you will need higher specs to run the game

  • Crashes and bugs may become more frequent and likely

We don't plan on going too ambitious with game and we would like to keep it fairly simple. This is still a thought but it looks likely.

Fuse box. Trying to take my time with these things to make it as good a possible.

Update:

Made some small progress this week. Nothing much but we are working on small environmental assets and Freddy's rig has been slightly fixed.

Should speed up the progress soon.

I'm really proud of how far @-Billyhuddy- has gone since I started to work with him so good job man 👍

Office desk WIP

as a final goodbye (there's still a chance). Here's this Jolly 4 wallpaper I made for 30K Follower milestone. I'd like to share more if Ivan is fine with me doing.

Office desk almost done now. Just needs a few extra details and some re-texturing.
