Ok I just saw the trailer this morning and it looks ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED FOR A MOVIE!

I lowkey feel like EFR (which released 2 months ago) kinda predicted the plot of this movie because of how similar the lore is.

To be clear, while most of EFR's lore is intentionally ambiguous. It's centered around going into deeper layers of an imperfect reality (The Backrooms), where things start to look less real. Like how things get more distorted in the movie as the Backrooms tries to "remember" spaces the deeper you go.

No one probably knows this because of how subtle it is, but each layer slowly gets more brighter and the audio gets more distorted the deeper you go. This is the code for it:

You'll probably notice it if you look at the screen carefully and wear headphones for the ambience changing each layer.

I was almost shaking in excitment about this lol!

Either way, I am very excited for the movie, and how far this simple internet creepypasta came from just a SINGLE IMAGE.

And about EFR V2, it's still happening! It's just paused so I can work on another game and come back all fresh, hope ya'll understand!
