It's the same every night. Go home, brush your teeth, put on some tunes, and lie down. But one night, you're left in a surreal place.

The smell of mold, and wet carpet floods your nostrils once again. The mono-yellow walls and the buzzing lights fill your vision. It's all so familiar... yet at the same time, it isn't. Walls where there weren't walls before, lights in what were supposed to be the darkest of places, and those... things. They're here too, but something just isn't right. You can feel it, the anger, the violence, the memories, everything that's happened has built up to this. They certainly won't let you go this time, and your only prayer?

You're trapped in an old outpost. A place where things always seem to repeat themselves as your sanity depletes more and more.

This strange place reminds you of something you've seen long ago. But there are monsters wherever you look, and you have the uneasy sensation that you will soon lose whatever humanity you still possess.

You play as Jake Smith, the protagonist of the first OG game finds himself back into the torment of the yellow nightmarish realm. But someone, or some things already knew that he was coming, and they have a lot of unfinished business to finish off. As well as a plan to execute.

Backrooms: Escape From Reality will have multiple phases of gameplay that centre around planning ahead and strategizing. Keeping out of bad situations is key to your survival, and there will be many obstacles that you will encounter throughout the game that will test your skills unlike any other.

In this game. Not only will you be forced to sit and survive against wicked entities that all have something in common. You'll slowly learn more and more what's been going on inside this nightmarish reality, as well as discovering a dreadful truth that will chill you right down to your soul.
