Movement Cards

Truck

Movement: 3 Capacity: 3 Hit Points: 1

Found: Starter Deck

Trivia: The side of the truck reads "V. E. Odd Jobs"

Usage: Play to spawn Val & Earl's truck. Must be placed next to a Meeple. Needs at least one Meeple inside to drive. Playing this is recommended as your first move each run! If attacked by a Graboid it will be destroyed, spilling out any occupants into the surrounding tiles. Destroyed trucks can be repaired using the Toolbox card.

Vaulting Pole

Movement: 3

Found: Card Market, Searching Ruins

Trivia: In the movie they use these to jump between boulders!

Usage: Play to give a Meeple a one use long range movement. This movement doesn't make any vibrations. Great for getting your Meeple out of danger!

Leap of Faith

Movement: 3

Found: Card Market, Searching Ruins

Trivia: Take a leap of faith!

Usage: Play to give a Meeple a one use long range leap between two different shelters (these could be buildings, vehicles, or boulders). Meeple can't naturally jump from building to building, use this to quickly close the distance to the flag!


Building Cards

Market

Hit Points: 2 Capacity: 4

Found: Starter Deck

Trivia: Built from the from what remained of his ancestor's market, which only had tents for walls when it served what was then a bustling mining town.

Usage: Play to spawn Walter's Market. Has capacity for 4 Meeple and has 2 hit points (i.e. can survive two Graboid attacks!). Recommended to play near the start of the game. You can leave this place behind and later use the Soda Machine card to draw the Graboids away from your Meeple journeying to the flag!

Prepper Bunker

Hit Points: 4 Capacity: 2

Found: Card Market

Trivia: The Gummers' basement is one of only two interior sets in the film!

Usage: Play to spawn the Gummers' bunker. Has capacity for 2 Meeple and has 4 hit points. A good way to waste the Graboids' time is by drawing them towards this stronghold with vibrations!

Old Fred's Shed

Hit Points: 2 Capacity: 1

Found: Reach Level 4

Trivia: Old Fred was a sheep and vegetable farmer. One of the first to be killed by the Graboids. All that was left of him was his head (and his hat!)

Usage: Play to spawn Old Fred's shed. Has capacity for 1 Meeple and has 2 hit points. A basic building, but still useful for spawning new Meeple. You could hold this card in hand until near the flag, then spawn all your Meeple with little distance to cover!

Tin Shed

Hit Points: 1 Capacity: 1

Found: Reach Level 2

Trivia: Melvin hides in here in the movie!

Usage: Play to spawn the tin shed. Has capacity for 1 Meeple and has 1 hit point. A last resort, but may still come in useful. Could act as an extra hitpoint for a Meeple if you manage to get them on the roof right before a Graboid attack!

Doc's Caravan

Hit Points: 1 Capacity: 2

Found: Card Market

Trivia: Dr Jim & his wife Megan are living here while they build their home!

Usage: Play to spawn Doc's caravan. Has capacity for 2 Meeple and has 1 hit point. Not much defence against Graboid attacks, but could be useful for spawning your Meeple near the end of your run.

Rhonda LeBeck

Found: Starter Deck

Trivia: Rhonda is a Mesa State University student of seismology. Pretty useful in this situation!

Usage: Play to spawn this Meeple in a building you've placed on the grid. Meeple won't have an action on their first turn of existence.

Trivia: He runs Chang's Market! He coined the term "Graboids" (shortly before being eaten by one)

Usage: Play to spawn this Meeple in a building you've placed on the grid. Meeple won't have an action on their first turn of existence.

Trivia: The license plate for Burt and Heather Gummer's vehicle reads "UZI 4U"

Trivia: He sought safety from the Graboids in the hollow of a tractor tire. He found none.

Usage: Play to spawn this Meeple in a building you've placed on the grid. Meeple won't have an action on their first turn of existence.


Distraction Cards

Soda Machine

Lifetime: 3

Found: Starter Deck

Trivia: In the movie this is an accidental adversity, drawing the Graboids towards the citizens. Maybe you can use it to your benefit?

Usage: Place on your Market building to draw the Graboids towards it for 3 turns. Great for distracting the monsters and drawing them away from your fragile Meeple! If you placed the Market at the start of the game, this should be very far away from your Meeple. The Graboids will attack and destroy it once they reach it - Make sure no one is left inside!

Tractor

Movement: 1 Lifetime: Until Hit

Found: Card Market

Trivia: Walter's little tractor. Setting this off was Miguel's bright idea

Usage: Play to spawn a Tractor next to one of your Meeple! It'll continue in a straight line in the direction you pick until it collides with something or a Graboid munches it. Use R to rotate the blueprint, and pay attention to the green arrow showing which direction it'll drive in! Recommended to play away from Graboids in a long clear line, so it has time to draw them away from your Meeple. You probably shouldn't use it while the Soda Machine distraction is still active, to get the most benefit out of it.

Old Revolver

Trivia: Earl had a Colt Single Action Army, which he kept in the glovebox of their truck

Usage: Play to give a weapon-less Meeple a weapon! Simply click on their body to equip them with it. Once equipped, they will automatically defend themselves (or any building/vehicle they're in) against monster attacks. They can also use their action to move into the space a monster occupies to instigate an attack!

Elephant Gun

Ammo: 1 Damage: 5

Found: Card Market, Searching Ruins

Trivia: Burt's elephant gun, an 8-gauge Darne Shotgun, was rented from a private collector for uses in the film. It fired dummy cartridges custom-made from solid brass rod stock.

Usage: Play to give a weapon-less Meeple a weapon! Simply click on their body to equip them with it. Once equipped, they will automatically defend themselves (or any building/vehicle they're in) against monster attacks. They can also use their action to move into the space a monster occupies to instigate an attack!

Trivia: Burt loads these up with black powder and fuses on the roof of his bunker while the Graboid menace is at large.

Usage: Play to give a weapon-less Meeple a weapon! Simply click on their body to equip them with it. Once equipped, they will automatically defend themselves (or any building/vehicle they're in) against monster attacks. They can also use their action to move into the space a monster occupies to instigate an attack!

Toolbox

Found: Card Market, Searching Ruins

Trivia: A box of tools. In the movie they may have used these!

Usage: Play on a damaged building or broken truck to repair it to full health. Recommended that you save this in case your truck is destroyed, as it will instantly repair it and allow your Meeple to continue their journey! Trucks are very valuable, and so are Toolboxes.

Hat

Found: Card Market, Searching Ruins

Trivia: Every cowboy needs a wide brim for sun (and Graboid!) protection

Usage: Play to give a hat-less Meeple a hat! Simply click on their body to equip them with it. Hats act as an extra hit point for your Meeple. If attacked, they'll lose their hat first, then a second attack will kill them.
