Christobelle Purrlumbus is a brave explorer of the outer realms (the WAY outer realms). Unfortunately, she's oblivious to anything going on around her; exploring is way more important. What's that? Someone's in trouble? I'm sure they'll be fine.

I created this character and art in 2016, just on a whim. One of those random ideas that just pops into one's head. The cat in the thumbnail image I use for my gallery is based on the character you see in this artwork, as I'm sure you've guessed by now.

Little did I know that this would go on to become my most successful work, along with the most widely stolen piece from my collection up to this point in time. RedBubble featured this piece not long after I uploaded it to my shop, and all of the art thieves out there jumped at the opportunity to make a buck or two, and they're still doing it, unfortunately. Well, I learned some things from the experience, for sure, so I'm thankful for that, at least.

On that note, just so that you—my lovely followers—are all aware, the only place from which you can buy this work while supporting me is my RedBubble shop. Here is a link to where you can view all of the various products I've made it available for so far: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/21570035?asc=u

I'm rather attached to this OC with one of the silliest names in the galaxy. LOL There is one other print I've created in this series, if you can call it a series; I'll share that with you all next time. I'm hoping to create more prints featuring Christobelle in the future, but we'll see where life and circumstances lead me.

Hope you are all doing as well as you can!

An illustration I painted for a friend who has been battling cancer for a long time. She's been doing better, but it's still hard. Hoping this will bring a little cheer in spite of everything.

I was spending some time with a friend who is in the hospital after having a stroke. She said:

Friend: "I heard you're an artist." Me: "Yes!" Friend: "You haven't drawn anything for me." Me: ""

Here's a sketch of something I'm working on for her.

Another climbing floral surface pattern design I made for home décor and fabrics. I was inspired by a patchwork top and also a porcelain dish.

Hope everyone's day has been going as well as possible. Been a busy one for me! Lots of yardwork.

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I came down with influenza last Thursday night, so not doing too well right now, but I am making slow progress. Stay well, everyone!

More pig.

Don't worry, I went back and drew the eyelashes later with a bigger brush after lining the rest of the piglets.

Art rave on a Tuesday.

The Tetrisphere soundtrack goes hard. Good game, too, by the way—an N64 classic. If you ever get the chance to play it, play it.

Just casually working on a submission for a surface pattern design challenge.

A layered floral fabric/wallpaper surface pattern design inspired by a quilted vest I saw.

Here's a fabric pattern (and variations) I made for a challenge with the theme "craft maximalism." I prefer minimalism, so I wasn't very hyped to participate, but managed to make something I liked.

Also, thank you so much for 20k followers!
