So I made it so you can rescue Pinkie Pie and finish the Alpha demo there. However I still would like to add in a way to get Souls faster so you can rescue Pinkie Pie quicker (Mane 6 need 5,000 Soul Energy each to rescue). So, now there’s two steps left on my list of Things-To-Do before I can release the Pinkie Pie Alpha!
1) Add in side-quests given by guards (who only need 50 Soul Energy to rescue)
2) Play the game to see if it’s playable before release
v0.10.1 released with the following fixes:
- Added Zecora's missing image that caused the game to crash when freeing her.
- The duplicates in Cloudsdale have been removed.
- Twilight's dialogue when investigating Shy's cottage no longer goes off-screen.
Preparing a CHAPTER 1 build right now. Just gotta wait for the game to compress.
I updated the Pie Sisters' sprites including Pinkamena. Next up is Maud.
0.9.2 Patch updates:
- Fixed a dialogue bug on the east path in the image shown above
- Hopefully fixed a bug with Firestarter's text
- You should be able to continue the game after beating Trixie and seeing the credits
v0.9.1 officially launched with Spike's addition.
The PIE SISTERS are now complete! Expect one to join at the start of CHAPTER 2!
Here's Zecora's hut from the outside. May seem a little half-"flanked" but I didn't feel like drawing her tree, so I used the image from the GameLoft mobile game :P
Currently tracing the Ponyville houses so I can give each resident a house whose colors match their own color scheme giving the player some sort of hint as to who lives there.
