Bryant’s Revenge (A Very Hard Boss Fight Runner 2)

Comparing on how much I’ve done si ce the start of the year to now is kinda crazy to think about,

Just reminiscing on what I’ve done so far

I’ve gotten a bunch of stuff done, actually managing to do the with sorting(still can’t believe I actually did it, in Turbowarp out of all things)

And to this day I still say that just completely redoing the engine from the ground up was definitely the right choice

The game had a completely different vision back then, and even sometimes I’ll revisit it to see what it was like,

Which to say it sucked a lot. Everything felt pretty off, the layering was like a disaster, but I’ve already talked enough about how much of me not liking the original thing, but I’ll say in short that without it I wouldn’t of known what to build off of for the newer engine

Like still switching to tile based to geometric collisions was a good move for example, it was wayyy less laggy and it even gave me unlimited building space for levels instead of me having to work in a limit

That’s just one thing, there’s a lot of others, but I think you guys get the point

Gonna stop rambling here, just wanted to share some stuff I’ve learned and noticed

That’s all

I promise at some point I’ll try to do videos and streaming again, just haven’t been ready for that in a while
