I’m considering rewriting the game using HaxeFlixel rather than Phaser.
I’m still having issues structuring code properly with Phaser and things that would be easy with HaxeFlixel are proving problematic with Phaser.
I’m coming, again, to the conclusion that Phaser is suited to very small games but that I lack the skill and discipline to make larger games without the code becomming a mess.
It’d take probably a day to rewrite what I have so far… not a long time. But it’d be a lot of work and I’m burning myself out as it is but I DO NOT want to release a game that’s not finished or that isn’t what I want so that is likely what I will do.
