Friend Inside Me is the main boss of chapter 5. His name is Woodstock. He will be a puppet/plant hybrid that is bound to his grass patches. He is manifesting from Asgore's nostalgia, meaning that he would do anything to keep Asgore and his relatives safe. By the end of the chapter, it is revealed that the grass patches are all part of him. And since the grass patches cover the whole dark world, everything is inside him. He states, "The other darkners, inside me. You Delta Warriors, inside me. Asgore, my friend, inside me." Woodstock also has a TV sidekick who is also the shadow crystal boss.
