As immersive as the HTC Vive is many gamers don’t have easy access to VR and won’t be getting it any time soon. We want to make Ixion available to as many people as possible despite that it’s VR only at the moment. As we add more mechanics it may prove difficult to make some of them enjoyable for the Non-VR user. If too many mechanics are lost while porting this game we may reconsider the feasibility of this port, however at this moment we are creating a standalone version.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
