ART!

Here’s the near-final design, as well as progress work, of the newest resident, Darci! And man oh man, her design had the most radical changes throughout the process. Colors not finalized, but close. I had an idea of the person I wanted her to be, but there are so many different ways to visualize it. A coat+hat+mask can come off as a worker or a kidnapper, so I focused on a friendly look via curves. I wanted her to wear a coat, but I asked, who wears a coat inside? So around the waist it goes, to give her a hardy look. Vertical curly hair for some energy! Her design has a lot of soft curves, not too fanciful but organic enough to not be too pointed or menacing, as a reflection of the character herself.
