Hey guys… 10 months since the last devlog huh, its not like I’ve been sla-
Okay let’s cut to the chase here, where is the game?
I won’t lie, the game’s demo is meant to be released earlier, but there were instances where I’ve been slacking on it, feeling unmotivated to work on it, AND busy with other stuff and I keep tasking myself with stuff rather than focusing on this sole project, I’d be rarely mentioning Dayshift with Salmo’s approximate release window (all I said was the year) rather than work on it, which, frankly: isn’t ideal from me, I keep goofing up this simple thing
So, in short, I wasn’t really focusing on developing this game because I was sometimes busy, sometimes demotivated, sometimes slacking, all times Sharpening my C# (I still suck at the programming language)
I AM going to take responsibility regarding my slacking for when I SHOULD HAVE been working on the game
So, with this out of the way:
What will come next for this game?
Sans.
Sorry, just had an urge to write that, anyway, there ISN’T any concrete plans (yes, again, *sign*) because the game STILL has some unfinished elements, but there will be a surprise coming very soon, like, REAL soon, I can’t tell you when, but it will be soon.
Changes to some plans.
I’ve been considering this for a long time, and I think it’s about time to say it: I have promised to provide nightshift gameplay during the demo and the game’s full release, but after considerations, I’ve decided to remove it from the scope of the project
The reason isn’t because I am a boohoo boring ahh clown (i am metaphorically speaking, I don’t call myself a clown) its because:
Making nightshift gameplay is already as time consuming as it is
I have realized earlier on during the development that I HAVE fell into the scope creep, my hopeful ass? Said: Nah i’d manage.
and i lost initial progress on it before using github pls dont kill me
And, well it does suck, I did want my ideas to go wild, but not when the game is already taking me this long to make, especially when this is my second project that I made it big (I haven’t forgotten about you, luna platformer), will it return? Not sure, but I’ll let my ideas run wild after the demo releases, so I can make this game more of a shitfest in humor than it is looking like.
Okay, that was a lot of text, but no images, so let me compensate by posting a drawing of dayshift with salmo’s blobmo I had made during when my laptop wasn’t dying and when I was playing webfishing:

Have a good day, and remember folks: ( )
