Dead Squared June Alpha Build - Go play it


Finally, we released a new playable alpha build of our game Dead Squared. We had a good E3, and implemented a lot of the feedback from people over the web, and during demo sessions. It has taken a bit longer then normal but I’m pretty happy with it. Keep in mind the game does not have any gameplay progression, and only 4 craftable weapons. There is also no quality type drops. Meaning all the guns you can craft from the schematics are the same for now. No acutal rpg elements are in, but we do plan to get that in, in a later build.

In the next public build we will demo the quality types, along with improved enemy AI and encounters.

Next up

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Regular exercise is key for healthy wings.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
