The meating

The meating is in fact a pun because it’s about a cow spirit I assume. You see this game is pretty hard to find on YouTube or anything the most I could find was a trailer for it with only 50 likes from mega cat themselves so this definitely seems very underground especially because at the end it says where you can’t get it which is on the switch and the N.E.S!!! A console that came out in 1983! Anyways let’s get into this. In the trailer we see a blue spirit of a cow running at the camera where he then turns into a red spirit cow head and goes around killing cooked chickens and whatnot in a Mario esc 2d platformer and just like we see in the into the pit trailer it’s all in a beautiful pixel art style and a pretty fun looking gameplay loop and hey if this post reaches 12 likes I’ll get it on my switch and we’ll see if it’s good or not.

Our next spotlighted game is:

Renfeild bring your own blood

A game that was a lot easier to find gameplay of on YouTube. This game is a fair bit more popular to the other games mega cat has made with this being a movie tie in game . This movie being Reinfeild a universal movie which I’m not completely sure the plot of but I heard a review about it and what I got from it was that you’re a vampire working under Dracula and you don’t enjoy it so that’s all I know so if you know more or have even watched the movie let me know in the comments. But the gameplay loop seems quite simple as just a simple bullet hell looking game and it also still has that gorgeous pixel art style.

Wrestle quest

this game is also quit well known wit ign even making a review on it granted they gave if a 6 but they also gave spider man 2 an 8 soooo. This game is set inside a toy box where it’s a very colourful world of wrestling references that I don’t get but ign did 💀. The core gameplay loop seems quite a bit more complex then the others with it being a sort of dungeon crawler with the fighting style being like a classic RPG style there are also a lot of different side quests that are like a ddr style mini game battle ship games whatever. And in general this is a MASSIVE step up from the rest of there games 👍.

So I’ll be honest from what we see in the #intothepit trailer it looks amazing but after looking at all of mega cats spotlighted games I don’t know if this is really there type of game but I have a lot of faith 🤞.
