Hey, guys and gals! I apologize for not having an update ready for the past several months, but here it is: Demo 0.3.0!
Highlights:
Added a water gun attack
Improved swimming animations
Fixed the Lololo & Lalala (Stage 2 Boss) crashing bug
Stage 3 Float Islands

-Changed the distance you roll and prevented falling when hurt

-Fixed star blocks sometimes not playing the “destroy” sound
-Fixed shotzos still playing the firing sound when off screen
-Fixed being able to dive into and break a star block from the side
-Fixed being able to dash into water and maintain dash speed
-Fixed a bug where enemies could infinitely spawn and die during a microphone attack
-Maybe fixed a glitch where you can load a file with zero health
-Made Green Greens look better
-Made various, negligible tweaks to enemy behaviors
-Made the curry fireball have a slightly larger hitbox
-Made the Stage 2 warp star actually destroy the wall, rather than fly through a hole
-Made the healthbar for bosses fill up at the start of a battle
-Made Kirby jump higher when exiting water
-Made Kirby float if spitting a microphone in mid-air and gave him invulerability
-Made splash sound effects not play during the Stage 2 intro
-Made Shotzo bullets despawn if they travel too far
-You can no longer restart the game on the pause screen, which would cause the game to bug out
Once again, I apologize for the delay. Part of it was being in school, but most of it was laziness. It’s not easy to work on a game unless you’re inspired to work on it. Interestingly enough, my inspiration to work on the game was getting my wisdom teeth extracted. Fun!
