Demo 1 - Update(New build)


Hello there people.

I have just uploaded another build of Survive the World.

I will not write too long this time, i have a list of fixes and changes which gets written and updated as the development goes on.

So i will just add the list here which is related to this new build(73):

Survive the World v1.002b73:

Fixes/What have been done:
ID:0x001 Lag issues #1:
Tons of changes and improvements have been done to smooth things over.
The game should run better and actually be playable now. Tested this build myself(3gvice) and the average FPS have gone from 15-16 to between 25-30.
Gameplay experience may be different for each player, feedback is as always welcome.

ID:0x006 Minimap:
Been tweeking the minimap feature a lot, working on auto zoom feature when entering/leaving houses.
There is still a bug with the loading of the minimap, so it is 50/50 chance if the minimap shows or turns black.

ID:0x007 Cursor issues:
The cursor should now be visible allthrough the game.

  • Except main menu when going back from the pause menu.
    Glitchy graphic bug fixed.

ID 0x008 UI Text not disappearing:
Flickering fixed, text disappears after shown & background added to text.
Text color changed to blue.

ID 0x009 Loadingscreen not showing gamescreen when finished loading:
Added a backup code to reload the scene at end of the loading process.

ID N/A Mode scene fixed
ID N/A Oven & dishwasher fixed in kitchen:
Dishwasher animation added.
Oven “reverse” animation still missing.
ID N/A Loading scene changes have been made.
ID N/A Mission activation component animation & visuals changed.
ID N/A FOG increased to reduce lag.

There will be more builds with more lag fixes as we find and fix the components that causes it.
