So, I'm off from my birthday vacation and have rebegun work for the update. Long story short, the game is 10 times as hard as it used to be.
I've made some minor changes to the base game that should help with the balancing of mechanics. I've lowered the volume of the SAUL channel of music for the sake of being able to hear things better, and if that doesn't help, I've also added a mute button for the music.
I've also gone through and improved some of the games assets to add a more consistent art style and character designs.
Currently, I'm play testing the Survival Mode, which has been an absolute nightmare. (And not in the way you think.) Once I finish playlisting it, I'm going to make the final minor additions and then release it.
We're getting close, I can feel it.
